This sophisticated coastal retreat on Beacon Hill Road in Newport, RI was completely redesigned with a full custom renovation and a new sunroom addition. Our goal was to elevate and modernize every part of how our clients live in the home.
Down to the Studs and Slab
We took the home down to the studs and bare slab floor, which gave us a fresh canvas to build our clients' summer dream. We reworked the layout to create an open kitchen, dining, and living area, replaced all plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and added spray-foam insulation and new windows for comfort and efficiency.
A Kitchen Made for Entertainin
The new kitchen features custom cabinetry, solid bronze hardware, Danby countertops, and a large center island with seating, designed for easy summer gatherings with family and friends.
Spa-Inspired Baths
Each of the three and a half baths was rebuilt with tiled walk-in showers, custom vanities, and clean coastal finishes. Th Master Bath features a Steam Shower.
A Light-Filled Sunroom Addition
The new sunroom adds a bright, year-round living space wrapped in windows, bringing in natural light and views of the surrounding landscape, and connecting the home to its coastal setting. Finished with Coastal Character throughout the home, wide-plank White Oak floors, shiplap accents, and custom millwork give the interiors a relaxed, timeless feel.
